wrote a proposal for curriculum enhancement for social accountability and from
this came the concept of an Inner City Student Run Health Clinic. Over 3
summers she supervised students writing a proposal for the establishment of the
WISH Clinic which now operates on Sundays at Mount Carmel Clinic.
Dr. Durcan embodies the principle of the Family Physician being a
resource to a defined population, with her interests and areas of activity being
focused on northern, rural and inner city people.
